IndusInd Bank – 5th Largest Pvt Bank of India, is now Offering upto 7% Interest rate on FDs


In April 1994, Dr. Manmohan Singh the then Union Finance Minister inaugurated IndusInd Bank. IndusInd Limited is a new-generation Indian Bank headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

IndusInd Bank provides different banking products and services to Individuals, NRIs, Business houses, Corporates and Financial institutions. The bank offers Current, Savings, defence and corporate salary, RFC accounts, Sweep in/out deposits, senior citizen schemes, young saver deposits, RDs and FDs and many more services for its customers.

IndusInd also offers wide range of products and services to its retails and corporate customers, which include Personal Loans, Commercial & personal Vehical Loans, Microfinance services, Credit cards etc…

IndusInd has around 2,015 branches and 2,870 ATMs in India, as well as representative offices in Landon, Dubai, Abu Dhabi. Customer base of IndusIn Bank is around 2.5Cr with over 5000 distribution points.

Recently the interest rates offered by the banks on FDs are quite lucrative and hopefully attract more customers towards it. IndusInd is offering one of the highest interest rates on FDs up to 7% to senior citizens and 6.5% to regular citizens on 5 lock in periods tenure.

Fixed Deposits are one of the safest investment options available in the market. FDs guarantee consistent interest rates, and offers special interest rates for senior citizen. It is generally free from market risk and the profit you earn will be taxable.

Different Categories of FDs offered by IndusInd Bank

There are total 3 categories under which the FDs are offered by the bank and they are:

  • Premature withdrawal Allowed with Deposit less than 2 Cr
  • Premature withdrawal Allowed with Deposit in between 2 Cr to 5 Cr
  • Premature withdrawal not Allowed with Deposit in between 1 Cr to 5 Cr
